On December 5th, 2011 the International Organization for Migration (IOM) will reach a special milestone in its history: 60 years of assisting migrants worldwide in an ever changing environment and political and social context. This website aims to inform you on our specific activities and initiatives linked to our Anniversary year that is devoted to the central motto “IOM—Migration for the Benefit of All”. We welcome you to look through our site and join in our public events or share your migration stories with us.
IOM currently has 132 members and 97 observers including 17 states and 80 global and regional IGOs and NGOs.
